I am just above beginner level. I can read slowly, and can speak a little. I want to learn because I want to spend more time here, I love the country and people, and feel it's best to be able to at least communicate a bit in Hindi. I especially want to be able to speak better, to have a conversation, and to understand spoken Hindi better. I would like to learn for an hour a day, and do homework for one-two hours a day. Qualities I'm looking for: above all patience, plus, good teaching skills, sense of humour, preferably native speaker who speaks at least one additional language, not necessarily English, but just so he or she has had the experience of learning another language.

i am british travelling around rajestan and have been tought french for 10 years, but have forgotten a lot.
i need to practice conversationa l french at an intermediate level so as to prepare for a french interview with a prestigious london university (i will be given a text to discuss).
