Dear sir/Madam,
After five years together I am finally taking the big step and marrying my Iranian fiancee.
I am a complete beginner in Farsi and as my main aim is to get to know, and to be able to speak appropriately to his family I am mainly interested in conversationa l Farsi as opposed to written grammar.
I would be able to take 1-2 lessons per week over the next six months.
As this is extremely important to me I am looking for an effective teacher with previous experience. Although I am only learning conversationa l Farsi it does not mean I do not expect to take it seriously. I am based in Great Barr, Birmingham, UK.

I have the alphabet and basic elements of grammar/greet ings down. Took Persian 1 where i also had a tutor and can read it well but i need a lot more development in conversations and listening. Need help in grammar as well. Willing to dedicate at least 2-4 hrs a week on this. Need someone who is PATIENT and can go at my own pace.

My dad is Persian so i have a pretty good foundation of the language but i would like to be able to carry on a conversation with my Iranian family members and understand Persian grammar and writing. I think i would opt for lessons once or twice a week with a teacher who's native language is Farsi.

I recently married a Persian man and want to learn Farsi. I am a beginner and work full-time, able to devote 4-5 hours/week to instruction.
Because I work at least 40 hours a week with a demanding schedule, I am looking for an instructor who is flexible. In addition, my husband may be interested in English lessons, intermediate to advanced. Perhaps we could work with a single instructor, albeit separately and individually.
