I am interested in becoming fluent in Italian. I had two years of French in high school (20 years ago), and had several private lessons to learn the basics of Italian about 2 years ago. I went to a Sikh boarding school for three years in Punjab, but learned very little Punjabi because of the prominance of English speaking students. I'd say my proficiency level is beginner, but because of my exposure to the language, I could learn very quickly. I can read and write fluently. I'm learning the language because I'm a Sikh and think I should be able to speak in that native language. I need improvement in conversationa l skills, sentence structure, and spelling. I would like to dedicate at least three days a week for however extended amount of time to work around my working schedule. I would like a teacher who speaks proficient English and has an enthusiastic approach to teaching the language.
