Some common phrases I can understand and reply to, I have given burst attempts at learning by myself, I would like to get on top of the basic conversation, be able to ask a general question (how much, what time something is happening, that sort of thing).
I want to impress a girl by learning Persian. If I can have basic telephone conversation skills in a month (by the time her father arrives from overseas) then it would be fantastic.
I would like to be fluent enough to carry my own in 6 months or less. Is that possible?
