I am strongly willing to learn Burmese and always have since I was 14 years old when m uncles parents came through from Yangon I learned only a tiny amount of the language from them and they inspired me to learn the language. I am a beginner to Burmese and I have to learn it as I have a partner from the country and he can't speak alot of English and we want to get married and start our future in 4 or 5 years time and I will not be able to understand him if I don't know the full Burmese language.
I will need to learn both areas of grammer and conversation so that I can communicate well enough with him or he would need to learn English. I am being tutored by his friend but he is only good at typing in English and can't do both and he is teaching me to type in Burmese but I can't write in Burmese or speak it very well o have to type in stences to make my partner understand he can't speak any English an only understands a very small amount of words.
Tim e in the tutoring sessions I am available on wednesday's and I live in the uk so time difference can be difficult to keep up with as Burma is currently 6 and a half hours infront of the uk and the tutor I would like to have very good qualities about them and not to be harsh when teaching in uk time I am available hopefully by 3:00 pm and onwards due to discussions that I have with my partner. So if possible
Wed nesdays at 3:00 pm in gmt time would be great and if there is a time that matches that that isn't too early or too late for someone to teach me the language of Burmese I will be more than happy

Hi, my wife and I would like to learn Turkish because we have a holiday home in Tuzla Bodrum, we intend spending allot of time there and this is long term. When abroad the british have a bad habit of expecting people to speak English, we want to learn the language and there customs as to get a greater understanding not to offend the turkish people. We speak no Turkish at all so we will need to start at basic level and we would want to learn face to face with a native Turkish speaker. We are looking for a few hours a week and our aim is to do this long term hopefully increasing the amount of time taking classes. This is for my wife and I and we are about 10 miles outside Edinburgh so we can travel or learn face to face at our home.

I would like to learn the Turkish language as i went on holiday for the first time to Turkey at the start of May and loved the place and the people. When i returned home i decided to book up again for June as i wanted to be back there asap. I have just arrived back in Scotland and have made the decision that i would like to move to Turkey for a while as i love it so much so would be great if i could learn a bit of the language.
I cant speak it at all so would need to start at beginner level.
I would like to cover as many areas as possible.
I would like to see how i got on at my first lesson before i decide how many hours a week i would like to do but i am very keen to learn.
