As for my interest in learning Swahili language, I would need at least two months. I would like to Hindi because I plan to attend university for my graduate studies. Although English is widely spoken there, I would like to have a good command of Hindi and feel comfortable communicating . I am able to set aside 2 hours per week to learn. I am a beginner.
So far, I have learned the cyrillic alphabet, and am very interested in learning to speak the Russian language, either with a native speaker or at a school offering instruction.
I am willing to take an intensive course to gain a thorough knowledge of the language. I hope to eventually go to Moscow for a while to study there.
