I don't know any Farsi, only a few words. I need to know Farsi for my future studies, and out of interest in the regions where the language is spoken. Ideally, I would like to spend a few weeks in Denmark this coming summer taking Farsi lessons. I am a language teacher myself (not qualified as such though), which doesn't mean that I necessarily learn quickly, but rather that I know I must learn grammar as well as vocab, as much as I can in a short amount of time. Nevertheless, I'd like to emphasise the grammar part, learning theoretically how to structure sentences and attach the pre-and postfixes (?) - the vocab I am not worried about as I am better at picking that up. And that's that!

i am a beginner in farsi; i have been studying it on my own but want to become more proficient. i hope to be in tehran by mi-march and am interested in attending farsi language classes. i would like to start with my conversationa l skills and then progress towards more complex facets of the language. i am fluent in french and spanish and grew up with farsi in my home. learning a language is not new for me and i feel comfortable and confident that i can pick it up if i commit enough time to the process. my budget is limited and consequently, prefer a classroom setting unless a tutor in tehran can offer me a comprable price.
