I am looking for a teacher for one to one lessons of Hindi at beginner level. Ideally, I would like to have two weeks of intensive training i.e. about four hours per day six days a week for two weeks. I will be in Delhi for this purpose specifically in the first two weeks of October.
I can speak Bengali but cannot read or write it. I also speak French and Spanish to an intermediate level.
The reason I would like to learn Hindi is that I am trying to set up a business in Himachal Pradesh working towards the economic empowerment of poor peoples in rural areas. Learning Hindi will be necessary for dealing with governmental agencies and will also give a good grounding for learning the local dialect. Learning phrases that are specific to that business will be extremely beneficial.
I would like a teacher that teaches from a grammatical point of view although the more vocabulary I can learn in a short space of time the better.
I hope to be able to return to Delhi a few months after the original lessons to have some follow up lessons with the same teacher if possible although a different teacher will be ok if necessary.
