-I am a beginner

Hi,
I am looking for a good Mandarin teacher, whether private or in a small group. I lived in China for a while in the past, but it really doesn't show in my Mandarin abilities. I still consider myself a beginner.
I'd like to focus on general conversation mainly. I am hoping to return to China by the end of this year. This time I want to be prepared.

Level: not too sure
Reason: I'm Chinese Canadian. I have spent 2 years studying Mandarin at Mcgill. I spent 8 months in Beijing, China. While I was in China, I noticed my Chinese had improved by 10 folds. I came back to Canada in September of 2004. Since then, I have had a lot of trouble finding a class that is suitable for my 'in-between' level.
Areas of trouble: conversation
Time: it depends
Qualities: I learn best with repetion and constant practice. I am looking for a teacher who will provide private lessons at a reasonable cost for a student.
