I live in Holland for more than 2 years now, and my Dutch is still basic. I want to learn Dutch to communicate with people and feel more comfortable in the country. Moreover, i just moved to Venlo and I guess people don't speak English here, rather German. Would like to take classes twice a week in person. Would also try online courses, perhaps I'd like it.

I am currently half way through a beginners course in Dutch for written and conversation. I live and work in Venlo, Holland, so ideally I would like to have a private tutor and continue with the rest of my course. My listening skills are good and my reading skills are better then my written and speech abilities. I would need support in all of these fields. I would like to dedicate 1 night a week to private tuition, lasting at least 1 and a half to two hours maximum per week. I may increase the amount of lessons per week or the time length of the lesson later, this entirely depends on the improvements I make. The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is someone who has excellent knowledge of the English language, and will ulitmately be able to strengthen my confidence in speaking and understanding dutch well.
