My native tongue is Hakka and i speak english very well. However, due to my new job, i am required to speak Cantonese in a more professional level (i can speak simple, basic Cantonese).I am prepared to have 1 lesson per week (lasting around 1-2 hours per lesson)
I am looking for a teacher who is able to improve my language skills so that i can conduct surveys with the Chinese community.

I am a beginner looking for some lessons in cantonese and/or mandarin. Last year i travelled through Hong Kong and to China to Shaolin to progress in my martial arts practise, however my lack of language skills held me back to some extent. Therefore i would like to advance my language skills to return to China and finish my studies in martial arts.

I am a complete beginner in both cantonese and mandorin. At the moment i speak english and am good at French. I would like to learn either cantonese or mandorin as i am going on a gap year next year and am going with my chinese friend, and staying in Hong Kong with all her family who dont speak english, so i would find it helpful to learn some conversationa l cantonese. I also have a great interest in china in general and would like to spend more time there later on, so would find it useful to learn basic mandorin too.
Lessons in the evenings would be ideal, perhaps once a week, but times are negotiable.

I have had a long interest in the history of the chinese cultural revoloution and the figures behind it, and it has been suggested to me that my hobby and interest would be enhanced greatly if I could speak the language, i have found this to be true.
This is purely a hobby i have and and wish to enrich my interest in the chinese history and culture, I am looking for classes that suit you perhaps an evening a week or whaterever.
I am unemployed and have a lot of free time!
