I have been studying Catalan for 3 years at the Escola Oficial d'idiomes in Maó, Menorca. I have just sat my Intermedi II exams and unfortunately failed the oral exam but passed the other 4 parts. I need to practise conversation before I retake the oral exam in September.
I moved to Menorca 7 years ago and started learning Spanish. My problem is that I now tend to mix the two languages when I talk.

I am a suicidemissio n of having to learn to speak catalan in a level sufficient to pass exams in academic level. I have tried to study a bit of catalan with thehelpof teach-yoursel f-books but the results aren`t remarkable. I need to find a teacher whois willing to progress fast and perhaps can take advantage of the French skills I already have. On the other hand I am willing to do a big effort to keep up with the high pace.
