Hi, I am interested in learning Norwegian mainly for reading, and secondly for an upcoming (but no date) trip to Norway. I have been studying on my own for several months and am fairly satisfied with my progress, such as it is. I am retired so I have a fair amount of time. I am no stranger to language learning as I worked some 40 years as a translator of German and Spanish. I also read French, Portuguese and some Italian. In high school I studied Russian but did not continue with it. I also studied Latin at one point. I am comfortable with some grammar in my studies. I am interested in having good pronunciation and understanding spoken Norwegian so I would like to have some real contact with a teacher. Cultural information on Norway would also be interesting.

Hello! My name is Veronica and I am 14 years old. I'm going to have my Konfirmasjon soon, but there's one problem... I can't speak Norwegian. I understand most of it though. So please help me to get better at conversating in Norwegian! I am willing to dedicate as much time as needed to make major improvement. From 3pm-9pm I'm free. i want to learn norsk there because i haven't met my biological father and he lives in Norway and wants me to visit in 2 years time. i want to study the language for at least 30 minuets a day if i can get online because my foster parents don't let me use the computer often but now want me to check my e-mail i can do this a lot more easily than before.i would like my teacher to be kind and understanding as well as patient.
