I find that I have to use Mandarin more and more in my job, but I'm not fluent and I have trouble with Guo-yu's tones.
I would say I'm at an intermediate level but I've never taken a class in it.
I need someone (a) to speak with conversationa lly; (b) whom I can ask about pronunciation , tone and vocabulary issues.
I want to dedicate two hours a week to this one-on-one practice, but wil go with whatever is practical. I am already studying every night.
I need someone who is friendly and enjoys conversation.

I am interested in learning beginning Punjabi. I know some small phrases but really want to learn pronunciation and increase my vocabulary so I can communicate with my Punjabi friends. I'm in my 4th semester of college Russian and am going to study abroad this coming fall in St. Petersburg. I really need to have better grammar and learn a lot more verbs, especially for history and for athletics (since I will be taking history in Russian and hopefully doing athletic training there.)
I would like my teacher to be patient and a good conversationa list because I think that speaking is the most important thing!
