I am a current college Student wanting to learn to speak madarin and write Chinese characters seeking a tutor. My current level is intermediate. I studied Mandarin a year in bejing, China and took a course my first semester in college. I want to Improve my chinese pronciation and learn more how to read and write chinese characters. I would like to be tutored at least once or twice a week. I am looking for a teacher that is qualified at least has had experience in teaching at languge institution, school or has experience tutoring.

I have studied Persian Farsi for a while but have not been able to keep up for 2 years. I need to have a refresher course in order to prepare for a government test I need to take. I am a recent university graduate from a US university, where I took Kiswahili with a Tanzanian professor for 1 1/2 years. We did a lot of literature reading and translation, so I feel pretty comfortable reading and writing basic things but my conversation abilities are very lacking, as we did not do a lot of talking. Grammar also needs help, as I forget a lot of it now that I am no longer in school.
I hope to work in East Africa in a year or two, and thus hope to keep up (and greatly improve) my proficiency in the language.
I am willing to dedicate much time and energy to language lessons, however as I am a recent graduate just starting work and trying to pay off school loans, I would prefer a group class if possible so that it could be more affordable.
