I am an English teacher who works has moved here as my girlfriend is Filipina. I want to learn about the culture and assimilate into Filipino society. The first step in this is learning the language.
I am an A0 beginner currently but feel that I will learn quickly as I am a linguist by profession. I am looking to study 3 times a week, though this is subject to change as my own teaching schedule is fluid.

I'm Filipino-Cana dian born here in Canada. My bf is filipino and she's from back home. Both our families speak tagalog primarily and I would like to learn the language before kids enter the picture. I have some knowledge of the language but cannot speak well enough. My vocab is limited. I would like to have 2-3 lessons a week private in my home. I'm only interested in conversationa l so I can participate more in family interactions as well as have knowledge to pass down to future children.
I need a teacher that's patient and kind. Also, I strive from structure and homework assignments would be good for studies other than just the sessions. I would classify myself as beginner.

I hope to one day relocate to the beautiful Philippines and feel I would really benefit from being able to speak the national language. I have already studied a little using a few different language apps on my own, but really feel I need to be conversing to progress past a beginner level.
I would like to have one or two hour or half hour lessons per week. But really I am very flexible on any kind of arrangement.
