I am of Hungarian descent, and I would love the opportunity to learn the language so that I may speak to my family and communicate. I do not know much, only a few words so that would make me a beginner, but a goal of mine would be to work towards speaking the language fluently as I plan to travel to Hungary within the next few years to stay with family. the areas in which I need improvement would be all, as I would be learning from scratch. As I am currently in senior school and that takes up most of my time, I would able to dedicate around 2-3 hours a week, depending on assessments and exams ect. I would be looking for a teacher that is qualified in teaching my Hungarian from scratch and would be able to teach me as much as they possibly could, patience would be a must.
