I am travelling to Fiji later this year with my family, to show them the Fiji I used to know. My family lived in Fiji for five generations. I have lived outside Fiji for 48 years, during which time I have not heard nor spoken the Fijian language. I wish to re-acquaint myself with Fijian and be able to converse fluently. So Item 3 above - 'conversation ' is my interest. Telephone and e-mail would be the best media to implement the study since I need to hear the pronunciation of the language I have forgotten.
