I would like to dedicate between one and three hours a week for lessons with additional time set aside for practice. I really want to learn Japanese, I'm still a beginner that only knows how to speak some since I've never had a teacher or lessons before. I'm trying to learn this language for hobbies and personal interest as well as career because I want to live in Japan for a few years or at least travel there. My dream job would be something that let me travel around the entire world. I would like to dedicate most of my free time to my language lessons, but because I have full-time highschool to attend, it's pretty hard. Plus I want to get a part time job so I can pay for lessons.
I need particular improvement in writing and reading, especially grammar. I know almost nothing about it. I'm not sure about the qualities I'm looking for in my teacher and lessons yet because I don't know what works best for me yet.
