Me and my wife recently adopted a baby boy from Ethiopia and want to ensure that he grows up knowing where he came from (culture/lang uage). Not only that but I would like to learn the language as well so that we can learn together.
He is too young right now but I would like to get a heads start but not dedicate too many hours until he himself can learn with me.

I would like to learn Amharic as I am married to an Ethiopian and will someday spend half of my year living in Ethiopia.
