I know some (very little) Dutch and Mandarin Chinese but would like to know more (especially as I have a Dutch passport). I took French in school, but would like to get it back up to a good level.

I would like to learn Burmese because I have an interest in the culture. Also, I hope to travel there in the future.
I have a very basic conversationa l level. I cannot read or write. I would like to learn the alphabet, reading, writing and I would like to improve my speaking skills. Speaking Burmese is my primary goal, but I know a grasp of the alphabet is crucial in this.
I would like to study 1 to 5 hours each week, depending on trainer availablity.
I would like a kind, caring teacher who is very patient. I would like him/her to have high expectations for me and push me to succeed.

I am an absolute beginner. I would like to learn the burmese language so that I could teach the bible's hope for a paradise earth for all of mankind to the burmese. I would want to have lessons / receive lessons weekly. i'm interested in learning burmese. Mostly conversationa l. My fiance is from Burma and he will be gone for a few months. I promised I would learn it while he was gone.
