Hello
I would like to learn Japanese for lesuire reasons as I eventually want to visit the country. I also am interested in Japanese culture and would like to experience that partially through learning the language. I would be at beginner level as I haven't had enough time previously to pursue learning. As I will be taking a gap year in September 2009 I will have more time on my hands and would be willing to schedule it around the tutors avaliability. I am looking for a tutor who is both patient and encouraging, bringing out the best in their Students.

my proficiency level is very low as i only know basic greetings and words and not so much structureed sentences. i will be learning as a basis to move to sweden as my fiance is half swedish and we would very much like to sstart a new life there.general pronunciation is the first area to address i feel along with general conversation. i am willing to dedicate as much time as necessary though i would ideally intend to learn quickly. i would prefer my teacher to be able to connect on a personal sort of level which can help me grow in confidence to converse with native speakers
