I am very eager to learn Chinese. I am a full-time student studying English and History, but I have a very strong desire to teach English in China one day soon. I would love to learn the language and be surrounded with the culture, people, etc. I have visited China two times to help in English camps, and I want to continue to visit until I can eventually live there. As I said before I am a full-time college student who does not have a lot of time, but any spare time I have I would love to work on this language. I will dedicate as much time as I need to to learn Chinese. I am looking for a dedicated teacher willing to help me improve as a student and as a person.

Hello my name is Emily and I am 15 years old. I have chosen to study Korean and Mandarin Chinese because I am interested in the cultures and language. I also believe this will aid me in college prep and entrance requirements, not to mention my future career plan to be an ESL teacher.
At the moment my Korean and Chinese are almost non-existant, so I'll need help on everything. I'ved been trying to self teach myself through books and online chatting.
I am willing to dedicate quite a bit of my time to this endeavor as it is something that I am truely interested in.
Some qualities I am looking for in a teacher are: a strong desire to teach and a good student repoir, strong organization, variety in lesson plans, excellent English language proficiency, sense of humor and approachabili ty/ease of interaction.
