I think it is important to learn different languages as it would be a great asset for my career and traveling. I also want to learn French and Chinese as they are part of my heritage.
I would like to improve on all areas of the language but conversation would be the most essential. I have had previous education in Mandarin and French.
As for time, I think 1-3 hours a week would work.

I want to improve my conversationa l skills by learning from a native language instructor. My goal is to write and pass the Level II JLPT in December 2011. I believe that I am in intermediate level learner. I would like to dedicate as much time as is nececessary to succeed with my lessons. Hello, I am searching for a Japanese tutor to help me with my reading, writing and conversation skills. I have studied Japanese in university and also passed the 2 kyuu level of the JLPT. I am hoping for an advanced tutor to help me with creative writing and essays, keigo, and reading comprehension . Of course conversation is important too!
I am hoping for 1.5 hours - 2 hours a week. My ideal teacher would be experienced, patient, and would use Japanese only during lesson time.
