My profiency is beginners I guess. I want to learn Japanese so I can communicate with my Japanese side of my family. Learning Japanese would also benefit me for the future as I may live in Japan one day. The areas in which I need to improve on is grammar, conversation and well learing verbs, nouns and such. As I am at school, once a week for about an hour ot two is my preference. Qualities in my teacher ... uhhhm. I would like the teacher to have good pronounciatio n (at school the LOTE teacher's pronounciatio n is horrible), I would also like for them to be able to explain things well.

Hi we are three roomates who will be travelling to Japan on a working holiday in approximatly 18 months and really wish to gain a sound knowledge in the Japanese language and culture.
W e are at a beginner level but have 18 months to learn. We would like to dedicate one to two nights per week for lessons.

I go to tokyo often and am considering taking a gap year from uni to stay for a year in Tokyo on a working holiday visa.
It would be great to improve my Japanese as I have been learning but forget easily without lessons every week.
