My proficiency level would be that of rank begniner.
I wish to learn to speak Ukrainian. Ethnically I'm half Ukrainian, however, English was always the language spoken at home so I know essentially nothing of the language. My reasons for wishing to learn I supose would be best defined as cultural.
At this point I'm equally oblivious to all areas of the language.
I could devote two or three hours to learning the language depending on the instructor's availability.
As for what qualities I'm looking for the major thing would be the ability to present the language in a clear and easy to follow manner to someone with no real background in it. I have two university degrees, and in school I was able to pick up french fairly readily, so if taught I should be able to pick things up reasonably swiftly.

Hi ! I'm Cliff. I have a passion for the russian language. I have just completed my first year of russian language studies at my local college here in Dallas Texas. I want to take my russian language skills to the next level, I want to be fluent and understand far better what I consider to be the most fascinating culture on Earth. Grammar I am pretty good at, we have studied the 6 cases during my first year of studies. My writing skills are pretty good, but what I am weak in is conversation. Can you help me ? Languages are my passion...I can dedicate many hours to this effort. I need a russian language teacher as passionate about teaching as I am about learning.

i would like to learn about my background so i first off would like to learn the Ukrainian language.i am a beginner and would like to learn all areas of the language. i live in a refuge for adolescents and don't have much money. so if there is a teacher ready to give up their time for me i would be very greatful. the cost i can afford is a max of $20 as i don't carry much money to survive through a fortnight.but any person that is willing to do this for me i am so so greatful please let me know!!!!! i would love to go to ukraine to meet family oneday and would like to communicate to them personally not through a translator.
