I love languages, and my current labor of love is the Russian Language. Ideally, I would like to be able to take the TORFL exam in the next year (2012), hopefully at the Level 2 or 3. I have studied in a variety of ways, from self-study, computer and internet-base d study, text books, reading, podcasts, blog-writing, private tutoring and lessons, groups lessons, language partners, etc.
I believe that my level is intermediate or upper-interme diate. (Or according to CREF, perhaps upper-B1 or lower-B2).
While I enjoy conversing in Russian, I know that I make mistakes with grammar, particularly with cases and endings. And of course I need to improve my active vocabulary and polish my speaking so that I could speak appropriately in more formal settings, when needed.
I would like to study live, in-person. I like group classes with 2-5 students, if available. I can devote anywhere from 2-6 hours per week (or 1-2 meetings per week), taking lessons around my work schedule. Normally I would have free time for lessons on the weekends, or early mornings, with lessons ending by 12:00 noon.
As for what I am looking for in a lesson or a teacher - I enjoy using Russian only, and dislike switching between languages or translating. Additionally, while I need to improve my grammar, I enjoying learning it in a natural way so that I began to pick up the changes and improve my grammar or correct myself subconsciousl y, rather than stopping during speech to remember a rule and try to speak perfectly. Most of my Russian has been picked up with a more Natural Approach while being immersed in the language and culture in Moscow, so I don't do a lot of thinking, translating, or rule-remember ing when I speak.

I'm a medical student, studying here in Moscow.Since i have been living in Russia for quite some time, it gets boring to only know Russian language,as for my other Russian friends, most of them know how to speak German or French. so when they travel to German/French speaking countries,the y had fun talking in other beautiful languages. and i envied them. hence,here i am,trying to find a tutor for myself.
As for a beginner, i prefer intensive course of studying at the beginning and after that, a constant ones. I'm looking for an English-speak ing tutor who can teach me German or French, fun, and really flexible with the time and venue. :)

We are looking for a native-French -speaking teacher for two girls. We live close to Oktyabr’skaya metro station, working days from Monday to Friday from 2.30 p.m. till 5.30 p. m. (3 hours a day, 15 hours per week). The responsibilit ies are: preparation of homework (girls study in Lycée Français Alexandre Dumas), reading books and discussing different topics. This is a very stable work.
