I have about 10 words of Mandarin in total and now really need to start taking serious lessons. My wife is Taiwanese but fluent in English so I have been quite lazy in terms of learning the language. But now I want to learn properly. My focus will be on basic grammar initally before moving on to simple conversations which I can then practice with the wife and other friends. I'm pretty busy at work so am looking to spend probably 4 hours a week on this max. The teacher should make me feel relaxed as I'm a bit conscious of making mistakes, I don't want to feel like I'm back at school. So an easy going teacher is essential.

I will be living in Bangkok until the end of December and am interested in taking classes until I leave.
