I have lived in the UAE for 29 years and for some reason never picked up the language properly as mostly everyone here speaks English, especially in the corporate world, but if honest because I've been lazy and not tried to speak it.
I have for some time been trying to learn to speak fluently local Arabic, I have attended Eton last year however the class was full of a mixed range of skill levels from people who should never attempt to speak the language to people who spoke almost fluent other types of Arabic which after 30 hours of lessons left me slightly further ahead then when I stated. Again let me make myself clear I want to speak local Arabic UAE Arabic if possible!
My current level is, written non existent, reading I can read most things but don’t understand what I am reading, speaking is 15%, my grammar and male / female terms are bad and my construction of sentences.
I want someone who can get the most out of my abilities to learn the language quickly concentrating on the spoken side primarily and then on to reading and writing! I can dedicate at least 3 days a week two hours per day, if more is required then I will make the time! I want to learn the language asap :-)!
