Hi!
I am going to move down to Jordan in the end of July. I am invited to stay with a family in Petra.
I work as a nurse on the emergency now. I want to learn arabic because I want to work with doctors without boarders and planning to get a work in the Middle East on a hospital.
I am beginner in arabic.
My goals are conversation and to learn alphabet that I can work on by myself.
I am wondering about studying from 4 weeks up to 12 weeks. It all depends on houseing and some on the price.
I expect a good teacher, that teaches litle bit learning by doing. With that I meen that we can go to the marked, and practis by doing. The teacher has to be good to communicate. Other than that I am open for everything.

Our family has recently returned from living in Jordan, Middle east. My 10 year old daughter was doing very well with learning Arabic, and we wish to continue that. She speaks Arabic, though not a huge vocabulary, can read and write, so has some of the basics covered.

hello,
My first priority is to learn german and french, i wish to work as an investment banker in switzerland or monte negro after university. i have no formal background in either language but have a keen desire to become multilingual as this is an important skill in commerce these days.
my interest in japanese comes from my 4 years of high school plus current marital arts study. arabic is also of interest as many of my friends are from the middle east.
ideally i want to bring my skills in german up to that of being able to conduct business transactions etc and being able to handle university studies in german. i am planning to go on exchange to europe next year.
ideally 1-2 hours a week should be sufficient in terms of contact hours.

I am a Masters student in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Guelph. I am interested in learning Middle Eastern Arabic to further my interest in the Middle East and to help assist in my studies. I would be at a beginner level in grammar and conversation. I am very interested in learning the spoken language as well as the written one. I am willing to dedicate considerable time to learning the language on a weekly basis to further advance my skills.
