Hello, my name is Jason and I am interested in learning to speak Thai. I have been to Thailand several times and enjoy the country and culture. I would like to be able to share a greater understanding of the community and demonstrate a respectful commitment by working hard to be able to communicate well.
I have not had any education w/ the language to date – I am a beginner. I can commit a couple of hours per week and will work diligently to learn.

Beginner - I know some words but my pronunciation is probably poor. I try to practice when I'm in Thailand (4-5 times per year). I can sound out most of the alphabet but I need help reading correctly.
I want to learn because I might retire in Thailand.
I can dedicate a few hours each week.
I would prefer to learn from a native Thai speaker.
