I am a native canadian trying to win over my 'soon to be' inlaws from India. My girlfriends mother does not speak english, so I thought I'd learn to speak Hindi so that we can comunicate and build a relationship. I am brand new to the language and only know a few words. I am hoping to take lessons once a week for a few hours, hopfully with enough guidance and material that I can practice throughout the week. I'm an excellent student, but really only need to learn conversationa l Hindi, so there's no preasure on anyone who wants to take me as a student. I would like to find a teacher in Mississauga if possible, but I'm pretty gung ho about this and ready to travel throughout the GTA if no one is available in Mississauga.

I travel to India once a year on vacation and would like to learn Hindi. I know a few words from traveling and from songs and movies, but I have never taken any structured lessons.
I would be interested in private lessons once a week preferably in the Markham area or Richmond Hill, Aurora or Newmarket. If in other areas of the GTA, I could probably take lessons once every other week on weekends.
