I am interested in learning farsi, after becoming interested in persian poetry,
at this stage I want to develop my speaking skills together with reading/ writing.
I am currently learning on my own using some teaching books
I am currently learning grammer and language structure,
I can read and write well enough, since I know arabic.

I am seeking a tutor to assist me in learning the Persian language, which I need to do as I am developing a business in Tehran.
I am a relative beginner with Persian, though I have a small amount of background knowledge (I know the alphabet and some basic rules) as I have been dealing with Persian business contacts for a few years. I have also been to Iran twice.
My primary need is basic conversationa l Farsi, though I wish to progress on to reading and more advanced conversation.
I prefer live tuition, and would be looking to undertake a couple of sessions per week from the beginning of September. This would be interrupted for a few weeks at a time when I travel to Iran.

Hello,
my name is Suse, I am a children's doctor from Germany currently working & living in Australia.
I would like to learn persian for private reasons (the city where I come from in Germany is partnertown of Isfahan - so maybe I travel there some time....) I am a beginner.
Ta king private lessons probably works best for me (as I am working shifts in the hospital), maybe on a fortnightly basis.
Would be nice to find a persian teacher via this forum.
