I intend to learn basic Norwegian in anticipation of a trip to Norway in July 2015. I am a beginner; English is my only fluent language. I prefer lessons in person but am open to video conferencing with a teacher in Norway if a local tutor is not available. With my current work schedule, I can likely begin language lessons in the spring of 2014 and prefer weekly lessons, depending on rates. Takk :)

I am learning Norwegian for fun along with plans to visit and possible relocate to the country of Norway one day.
My proficiency level with Norwegian is beginner, but I have been studying the language for over a year now while attending college full-time.
I am fine with teaching myself writing the language, but when it comes to listening to it, I cannot keep up.
I want to dedicate at least 30 minutes to 1 hour each day studying, and I would like to take hour lessons at least once a week.
The qualities I am looking for in my lessons and teacher are a native's perspective and understanding of the language. I want a teacher who also knows what they are doing when it comes to teaching.
