Hello,
I would like to learn the Persian language (Farsi) and more about the Persian/Irani an culture. I am dating a Persian woman and would like to be able to speak her language and to also get a better understanding of her cuslture. I am a beginner and have never had Persian language courses before. I can dedicate several hours a week to learning and can be flexible with nights, weekends or a combination of both.

I am doing a masters in History of Art at SOAS university in London and I am taking Persian Farsi (written) as one of my optional modules. I don't need to know how to speak as my course is just written Persian . I have a basic knowledge ie I know the script and I know the verb tenses etc. I just need to practice translations and how to form sentences etc. I have my own textbook and I just want someone to go through it with me. I am in KL on Easter break from 25th March to 15th April 2014. I may need two or three sessions a week for the duration of the time that I'm here. Please find me an experienced teacher who will be able to do this with me.

I would like to learn Farsi as I am half Iranian and have difficulty communicating with some family members.
I only know the very basic greetings and some words but I can't communicate in actual conversations .
My main goal is to be able to understand conversations and be able to communicate.
I hope to achieve this within 3 months.
