I am learning Korean simply because I love the language and culture. Originally I wanted to learn Korean due to Korean music, but I have since expanded my views on Korean culture and I love every aspect of it.
I would say I'm at a beginner level. I can read and write Hangul, although only phonetically. I understand very basic sentence structure along with basic nouns and verbs, but I think I need improvement in all areas.
I would like to dedicate as much time as I can on my language lessons, probably up to 3 times a week (although possibly less as I have applied for a part-time job and have yet to be called back).
All I'm looking for is a teacher who is friendly and patient. A teacher who can adapt to the speed I'm learning at would be great.
