I am writing for my 3 children, aged 11, 9, and 7 years old. They do not understand Mandarin at all. So far, I have sent them to 2 mandarin teachers over the period of 4 years but to no avail. They have taken about one year break from learning Mandarin.They have not much interest in Mandarin. I would like the teacher to be creative in their approach to teaching this language. I think it will be more important for them to learn the speech 1st before trying the written language.

I am just seeking for someone who could teach me written and spoken mandarin. Its just for conversation purposes. It would be better if i know an extra language besides my mother tongue.
