I have never studied Arabic before. I have not yet studied the alphabet, but I intend to begin on that immediately. I plan to dedicate at least 15-20 hours a week to the study. I have considered going abroad even to do an immersion course. But before I make that decision I would like to take some courses in Tulsa. My main goal is to learn to speak Arabic so I can be an asset to business I am in.

I am learning arabic because my husband is egyptian and my step father is egyptian. I want to learn to be able to pass on to my children as well as for business purposes. It is hard to say what level I am in this language because I can speak and understand some but I speak slang egyptian. I would like to dedicate as much time as I can to learn this language as rapidly as possible to help with my career dealing with forgein banks and customers. I am hoping to have an understanding and patient teacher.

Hello,
A group of five Americans (myself included) are looking to come to Istanbul for one week in February to study Arabic. We are looking for a course that will teach us for three hours a day over five days. We have no previous experience with Arabic.
