I would like to learn 'amharic' because I find it to be a beautiful language with a long history. I love the Ethiopian culture and am impressed because it is a royal language of Africa. I am almost a beginner. However I can read the language. I have taught myself how to read it by studying books. I would like to practice learning the grammar and be able to hold a conversation. I would like an Ethiopian teacher.

I would like to learn Amharic as I will be staying in Addis Ababa over the summer months conducting a piece of anthropologic al fieldwork amongst street children therefore feel it is necessary to have a basic level and understanding of amharic language. I am a beginner and would like to focus predominately on conversation. Preferably I would like to spend up to 10 hours a week or more. I would my teacher to be friendly, confident and make the lessons both informative and enjoyable.

-Learning Amharic because my plans include marriage to a beautiful Ethiopian woman.
-I have nearly zero expeience in this language with less than 30 words spoken well. Also looking to read and write Amharic.
-De pending on price, I'd like to spend 2-3 nights per week in classes of some type while I will practice this nearly everyday.
