I'm a begginer in Mandarin. I've done all three blocks of the Pimsleur Mandarin program. I'm learning Mandarin to enhance my career in addition to my interest in the chinese martial arts. I need to improve every aspect of the mandarin language. I just need a good, patient teacher that can help me become proficient.

My job has required me to work in Asia for the past 10 years. I do not speak any Mandarin other than the numbers 1-10, some colors and common courtesy words. I am beginner.
I would like to dedicate 3 to 4 hours per week, maybe more if schedules permit. I would like my teacher to be available on weekday evenings and maybe on Saturdays as I am also employed full time. I would prefer that the teachings focus primarily on listening and speaking skills in order to become conversationa l. If I can master this, then I would enjoy the writing skills at some later point.

I have gone through most of a Pimsleur CD series on Mandarin. Sometimes when I speak with a native speaker they understand me but sometimes they don't. I view what I have done as a very rough begining but I have a lot to learn. My interest in Chinese is both personal and business related (I import chemicals from China and I travel there often).
I would like to dedicate at least 10 hours per week to my learning.
I would like a teacher that is good at teaching.
