Hello
I have travelled to Thailand many times over the years and have recently returned from a holiday there. The Thai culture intrigues me and I find myself trying to find out more about it. I know I will spend a lot more time there and maybe live there one day.
I think it will be hugely beneficial to me to be able to speak the language and a big challenge.
H ow much time would I want to dedicate to my language lessons? I work during the day, most days so I would probably be looking to do a couple of hours on an evening,durin g the week.
The qualities I would be looking for in a teacher would simply be someone who makes the learning interesting and has a good format for teaching Thai to a beginner.

I would like to learn to speak Thai. My mother is from Bangkok. I am planning a trip in November with my 4yr son and my Mom. It will be the first time her family has seen him and 8 years since they have seen me. I want to be able to communicate with them. My Mom works 12 hours a day, so it is difficult for her to teach me. I would perfer a private lesson, if possible, maybe my son can try to learn to if you do not think he is too young (3 1/2 now). Please let me know what the fee is or what schedule you can work out. The weekends would be best since I work and my son goes to preschool. Thank you for your time.
