My name is Jeff Sasser. I recently graduated from Southern Methodist University, working downtown Dallas, and I am highly interested in learning Chinese. I spent a summer in Suzhou, China last year and loved it, but was unable to speak the language. I am a beginner. My proficiency level is beginner. I am learning Cantonese Mandarin in order to get more involved in my culture as I am of Chinese heritage, born in the island of Trinidad.
