I am not yet a beginner also and would particularly be keen on conversationa l level. But by the end of the course, i expect to be able to read and write Spanish a bit too.
I would be travelling to U.S pretty often for business, and Spanish being the official second language there, i'm keen to learn the same.
Since I'm also full-time in business, I would not be able to devote more than a couple of hours only on weekends.

iam going doing my masters in business management in india
my fiance is based in italy and i plan to go there after 1 & 1/2 yr . Being a postgraduate i dont want to sit at home and be a housewife . I want to do some job there . I recently visted Italy and then i realised that knowing english is of no use i need to know the local language .
i was searching an icecream in superstore for 1/2 hr when finally after a lot of acting one sales person came o know wht i wanted and said 'oh gelati ' .
after this i have decided that before stepping that country after my post graduation i should know their language well.
