My husband and I are currently living in Chiang Rai, Thailand and have been here for 9 months. When we arrive home I will have taken lessons from AUA for a total of only four months. Currently I'm learning how to read and write, and studying for 1.5 hours/5 days a week. I would still classify myself and my husband as a beginner. My husband and I hope to return to Thailand after I complete my nursing degree at UIC, so we are very interested in studying Thai in Chicago for these next few years. Since I will be in nursing school I think two hours a week is about all I could do. My husband and I are both interested in taking lessons depending on if we can afford it or not.
