My name is Samuel Taylor. I am a 13-year-old and I am seeking a Japanese language teacher. I am a beginner and have VERY basic Japanese skills. I have been interested in Japan since I was very young and want to eventually live there. I want to learn the language so I can converse with people in Japan and because I am extremely interested in the culture.
I would like lessons in person, preferably on weekends but am flexible. The ideal times for me would be Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights or Saturday afternoon. I am flexible on the duration of lesson, but would like to dedicate about 2-3 hours a week.
I am looking for a teacher who is experienced, professional, is skilled in teaching beginners, and has the language perfected down to the finest details. I would also like someone who is kind, patient, is easy to talk to, and will give me confidence. I want to learn conversationa l speaking so I can apply it to the real world. I would like lessons not focussed on learning it fast, but to make sure I fully understand it. I am very serious about learning Japanese, and in turn would like a qualified teacher who is equally as committed.

I work in Irvine, California, USA for a Japanese company where many employees are of Japanese descent. The non-Japanese speaking employees would like to learn some basic communication skills related to every-day use and business use. Proficiency level is beginner. We would like to learn weekly for about 90 minutes each lesson. The amount of lessons is undertermined at this time. The amount of students is also undetermined at this time, but I would guess 5 to 10.
Can you please share with me what options we have for learning Japanese through you.
