Intermediate level. I'm living in Beijing now and looking for work, which will probably require speaking Chinese. I want to learn Chinese for both personal and professional reasons. I mostly want to work on my grammar and oral Chinese. Learning to speak better is my main goal. I want to meet 3-4 times a week, and I will study outside of class as well. R eason for learning: My husband is native German and his family speak no English. We are also bring our 2 year old daughter up to be bi-lingual and I would like also to be fluent in German by the time she is old enough to have proper conversations in a year or two.
Time to dedicate to language lessons: 1 - 2 hours per week with teacher plus ongoing exposure through my husband.
Q ualities in teacher for lessons: Easy going with the ability to motivate through praise and constructive criticism.
