My proficiency level would be as a beginner. I am planning a trip to the Ukraine this summer and I need/want to speak the language. The area that I would like to focus on is the conversation part of the language and I would like to dedicate 3 days of tutoring per week until I feel comfortable. I need someone who is patient. I would also like to start from the beginning. In other words start with the alphabet and work my way up into words, sentences and then conversation.

I'm a novice at Japanese but would love to learn it better.
Why? big time anime fan. and while there is a fair amout of stuff that has been dubed I can tell theres expodently more that hasn't.
as for what I would like from a teacher is fairly simple, I tried a whole bunch of those lean this language cd-roms. and they don't work well for me. so I want a differnt approach then they use.
