I have taken four semesters of@Japanese. My wife is from Okinawa and it's really hard trying to communicate with her family as much as I would like too. I would also like to settledown here one day, so Japanese is definitely something I will need to be able to speak.
I have a hard time determining certain particles and when I listen to sentences I can only understand certain key words.
I am looking for ateacher that can help me too better understand the language. For some reason I can't learn that much from a classroom environment. I really think one on one lessons will be a great benefit for me. Thank you for looking over my profile. Arigatou Gozaimasu.

Why: I'm currently living in Japan, and while I have a basic understanding of the language, I want to improve and reach the point where I can communicate effectively and understand what's being said to me.
Need Improvement: Fluency, listening, conversation; also, my knowledge of written Japanese is fairly weak, though I know hiragana and katakana quite well.
Time : 1-3 hours a week
