I have recently started working with a Japanese company and am only the second American to be hired into the office. Although they don't require us to learn Japanese, I feel it would benefit our working environment if I were to be conversationa lly versed, at the very least, in Japanese. The other 10 people in the office are recently moved here from Japan and I would like to better understand what they are saying, where they are coming from, and, if possible, more about their culture. I am still in college, although I am finishing my degree online thru Indiana Wesleyan University and should be graduated and beginning to work towards my Master's in a little over a year. I have a very basic proficiency in the French language. My roots stem from a High School language class, were I studied French to the highest level available We spent time reviewing the culture, writing, and the history of the French Revolution. Although to my disappointmen t, not enough time was spent learning how to speak the language. I have always wanted to speak French fluently. Upon my graduation, my goal is to use my Marketing degree (minor in Global business) and obtain a job where I can best utilize my abilities. I am serious about obtaining this goal and researching many avenues to make it possible. Even though I am familiar with the country and language; I wish to review and have conversation ability. I'm willing to invest as much time as possible to obtain my goal. I do have a full time job and family. However, I am serious about my goals and very determined to achieve them. I wish to have a professor that is willing to work with my full-time job. All arrangements will be made so that my family/person al life does not conflict with my lessons. And time will always be allocated for my lessons and whatever else is necessary to accomplish this goal. I have learned early in life, 'that you make time for things that are important.' I plan to incorporate my studies in my daily life. This will not only enhance my career, but will enrich my child’s education. We will all benefit from this period of study.

Hi,
I recently graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in Photographic Imaging and am looking forward to traveling, however, not only do I want to photograph other countries I would also love to speak the language. I have many friends who are Spanish speaking and would also love to be able to converse with them in their first language.
I took three Spanish classes in high school, grammer 1&2, and one conversation class. I remember some of the Spanish I learned but I would still consider myself a beginner. I want to be able to converse in Spanish with confidence.
I would love to have a teacher who speaks Spanish as a first language. I am willing to spend as much time as necessary to build the skills I need to speak Spanish correctly and efficiently.
