Hello
I am interested in 'learning' the portuguese language, as opposed to taking some classes. I have taken probably 4 years of spanish and while I have a large spanish dictionary in my head, I can not really speak it.
I took a beginners portuguese class last year at Boston Center for Adult ed, but didnt feel it had enough structure to really make me commit to learning. I like a group dynamic in a classroom, but understand that a tudor may be all thats available.
That said, Im interested in finding a teacher to teach me to speak and understand Brazilian portuguese. I have good language skills and can read and interpret very well. My wife is Brazilian and I would loive to be able to communicate with her family.

I believe I am at an intermediate level of Portuguese. I am learning the language for personal enhancement. I particularly need to improve my conversation in Portuguese and accent. Since I'm a native Spanish speaker I tend to speak more of a Portuñol, which is definitely a problem. I would like about 2 hours per week, but I'm willing to do more, depending on the cost per class. I'm looking for a teacher who has fun teaching, is creative and thinks of fun activities/ex ercises to do, like listening to music, watching videos, walking down the street and describing what we see, etc.
